Project Page for MyOFBiz Website

This project represents several years of constantly evolving work with OFBiz to demonstrate just how versatile the framework is. One person, Ruth Hoffman built the original website using OFBiz 4. Migration to 9.4 was accomplished late last year.

Ruth currently acts as the site administrator, primary content contributor and the only developer for feature enhancements.

She is most proud of the following customizations:

• 3 column w/floating middle column layout that works!! All implemented using CSS, OFBiz Screen Widgets and Freemarker templates.
• Simple implementation of DWR (Direct Web Remoting) to demonstrate Ajax support. Testimonial content ("What Others Are Saying") is driven by a DWR callback to the OFBiz backend database.
  BTW, these are real testimonials from real businesses.
• Blog with support for user comments. WYSIWYG editor and dashboard like management tool to allow authorized users easy blog creation, editing and publication. It also offers an archive of recent blogs for those who can't catch the original posting.
• User friendly knowledge base interface to easily add and remove knowledge base articles.
• Implementation of some OFBiz survey features.
• Support for newsletter signup and unsubscribe.
